VolumeOne’s 10 Year Fling

Last weekend I traveled to my hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin to check out an opening for the new location of VolumeOne.

VolumeOne is sort of the VitaMN of Eau Claire. They are a publication that does design, community organization, and events. My besty of all besties, Katie Wollf, just got hired as their new Graphic Designer. Looking forward to her updates on all the design happenings an hour and a half east of us. There are hundreds of agencies here in Minneapolis but in Eau Claire, there aren’t a ton of design shops around. VolumeOne is definitely the best place to work as a designer in the Chippewa Valley. I’m very proud of my Katie and so excited to see all of the things she’ll get to work on there.

I made her a little something for fun, taking liberties on one of the photobooth photos to add in “Katie & Melanie, best friends for life.” It’s true, we’re going on 15 years now and somehow both of us became Graphic Designers.
